Diet trends are always changing and it’s difficult to separate fact from fiction. Should you eat fat or not eat fat? Is it the carbs or the calories? You simply want to feel your best and age gracefully but what you’re doing isn’t working. You’ve tried countless diets but you can’t get the lasting results you want. They tell you that it’s your fault. “If only you wanted it more you’d try harder.” You know that couldn’t be further from the truth; you want and deserve to feel your best everyday. That’s where Primal Health Coaching can help. I use what I know about health coaching and ancestral health to help support a healthy aging process.

Do You Need A Mentor To Help You Get Healthy?

I’m here to help you sort fact from fiction and find a lifestyle that will work for you. Every person is unique and what works for one person may or may not work for another. You’re a whole person who deserves a whole person approach.

As your guide we’ll start with the basics of lifestyle, mindset, food, and exercise. Together we’ll put together a plan that works for you and your individual needs so that you can take the guesswork out of achieving the results you’ve always wanted.

My goal is to make your primal health coaching experience the last new “thing” you have to do to get the results you’re looking for. Wouldn’t it be nice to finally know what activities support healthy aging?

We’re swimming in apps, gadgets, trackers, podcasts, books, and a boatload of information yet our health is worse than it has ever been. What I often find is that many people are simply doing the wrong things. Earning and burning calories isn’t my jam because it simply doesn’t work for weight loss or overall health. Your body is a biochemistry lab, not a bank.

Diet culture has done a number on the minds of the people I work with. More often than not I have to try to get people to eat more. In our pursuit of healthy aging via health coaching odds are we’ll uncover some conscious or subconscious beliefs that may be holding you back. Imagine having the health you want and knowing how to keep it. You will no longer have to constantly invest time and energy into getting healthy. What will you do with all of that free time and energy?

How Does Health Coaching Support Healthy Aging?

Imagine a life where you sleep well every night and you wake feeling energized and refreshed. Your days are fueled by natural energy so that you no longer have to rely on caffeine to get you through your daily tasks.

In my health coaching, we’ll get back to the basics to support the healthy aging process.

What Is Primal Health Coaching?

My job as your coach is to help you reach the levels of health and wellness that YOU desire. I am your accountability partner, educator, and the person who helps you reframe limiting beliefs.

We are individuals and what works for one may or may not work for another. My job is to help you conduct your own n=1 experiment to see which foods work for you and which do not.

I meet you where you are in your journey. Some people simply aren’t ready to jump in 100% on their first day and that’s what this program is for.

We’ll have weekly 30 minute chats but I’m also available for quick text messages and e-mails in between those weekly chats. You don’t have to figure all of this out on your own. I’m here to help you navigate all of the different variables that affect your health. Each week you set the goals you want to tackle and I’m here to hold you accountable and/or help you uncover any habits that are standing in your way.

We’ve been earning and burning calories for decades and it simply doesn’t work for long-term weight loss or healthy aging. When it comes to exercise quality matters more than quantity. I’ll teach you which exercises burn fat, how to build endurance, and how to strengthen more than just your muscles.

Coaching Metrics

Coaching is designed to help you reach your goals by offering support. There are countless meal plans and diet templates online but most of them don’t work long term. As your coach, I help you uncover the habits and subconscious patterns that have held you back in the past.

  • VISION AND VALUES:
    • We’ll explore YOUR definition of health, wellness, and goals you wish to achieve.
  • FOCUS:
    • Which goals do you feel equipped to tackle first, second, etc? You will incorporate changes at the rate you feel most comfortable.
  • EVALUATION:
    • We will review and compare your ideal state to your current state at each coaching session.
  • OBSTACLE IDENTIFICATION:
    • After reviewing the progress made in the first 3 steps we’ll look to see if any habits are holding you back from your goals.

  • Our first coaching session is 60 minutes. During that time we’ll go over the answers you provide on my questionnaire. We’ll evaluate where you want to go, where you’ve been, and how to proceed to work toward reaching your goals.
