A Paleo Game To Help Beginners Get Started

When you’ve been eating the Standard American Diet your entire life a switch to the paleo diet feels overwhelming for many. Cutting out vegetable oil, grains, dairy, processed food, fast food, legumes, food additives & preservatives, most sweeteners, and limiting alcohol intake all at once leaves people feeling like a deer caught in the headlights. This is why I decided to create a game to help paleo beginners get started. It’s called paleo bingo.

It’s a paleo game board with 30 different primal lifestyle tasks you can do each day. The suggested tasks cover the full spectrum of the primal lifestyle because going paleo/primal is about more than just food. Each day you select 1 box as a challenge for that day. Cross it off and then select a different box the next day.

The reason I decided to help paleo beginners with a paleo bingo game is because it’s a slow introduction. It gets rid of the overwhelm of switching to the paleo diet. By adding an element of fun my hope is that you won’t feel like you have to perfect everything from the beginning. Plus, I don’t know many people who are motivated by feeling like “this sucks.”

My hope is that as you tick off the boxes you’ll come across things that you enjoy. When you try things individually it cuts down on the level of difficulty. When it feels easy it won’t feel like a diet. Perhaps you discover that taking a stroll after dinner is your new favorite thing. I’m also willing to be the farm that you enjoy 24 hours away from social media.

While the paleo diet is about food, the primal lifestyle encompasses stress, sleep, sensible fitness, and mindset. We tend to think of our body as separate entities but in truth everything works together.

Helping people switch to the paleo diet I know that it’s about food, but more often than not it’s about more than just food. A person’s self talk, cooking skills, mindset, a lack of social support, and knowing what to buy at the grocery store are just a few of the challenges paleo beginners encounter.

Too many people have been able to improve their health with various dietary approaches to the primal lifestyle. My goal is to make it accessible for anyone who wants to learn. You don’t need expensive supplements or a big budget. You simply must have the desire to learn and then I can teach you.
