Foundation of Wellness Podcast Episode #76: Low Carb Dining

how to eat low carb in restaurants

Marisa Moon is the first Primal Health Coach friend I made. We met at Paleo f(x) in 2017. Even though our lives are busy and we live in different time zones we always have a great time when we do connect. In this podcast episode, we talk about all sorts of things. I talk about my natural progression to the low carb keto lifestyle. My experiences with the carnivore diet and the special side effect I didn’t expect. Marisa and I have both had many experiences with low carb dining. In a world where everything is served on, in, wrapped, or with a side of grains, it can seem difficult to stick to a keto diet when eating out.

Learn why I went from autoimmune paleo to the carnivore diet. We also discuss nightshades, joint pain, and what population is least likely to tolerate this plant family. I also share a bit on how to discover your shade of paleo. Throughout the episode, we both share our tips on how to eat low carb in restaurants. What low carb things can you find in a Mexican or Italian restaurant? Do you have to be perfect and follow the keto diet all the time? Get our tips on how you can eat low carb in nearly any restaurant. Listen closely because in this episode there is a link where you can get a copy of my free Low Carb Dining Guide. Check it out. I hope you find as many moments to laugh as I did.

Plant Compounds That May Be Causing Your Joint Pain

The very thought of this idea makes me cringe because it’s not better for the environment, it’s not healthier, and it’s low-fat dogma from the ’80s repackaged with a facade of environmentalism. We all know how the dietary advice from the ’80s turned out… Besides … Read more
